Short version

Every tool on this site runs in your browser. The text you paste is not uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload it to: there is no backend, no database and no account system. There are no cookies and no advertising trackers.

What happens to the text you paste

Nothing leaves your device. When you press the button, your browser reads the text in the box, walks it one character at a time, and writes the result into the second box. The file you pick is read with the browser’s own file reader and is never sent anywhere either.

That is also why the tools work with the network switched off once the page has loaded.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It counts page views and tells us which pages and which countries they came from. It does not set a cookie, does not follow you between sites, and does not build a profile. It uses no fingerprinting to identify you.

What our host records

The files are served by Cloudflare. As with any host, serving a page involves receiving the request, which means it sees an IP address and a user agent. That is standard request logging. We do not combine it with anything else, because there is nothing else to combine it with.

Cookies

This site sets none. Nothing is stored in your browser to recognise you on a later visit.

Advertising

There are no ad networks, no embedded third-party scripts and no pixels on these pages beyond the analytics beacon described above. No data is sold, because none is collected that could be.

Children

Nothing here is aimed at children and nothing here asks for personal information of any kind.

If this changes

If the site ever starts collecting something it does not collect today, this page changes before that happens. The version you are reading is the current one.
